Choose a realistic day-trip area

Choose a realistic day-trip area

For a day trip centred on forest trails, start at Oandu Nature Centre: its courtyard gives access to two named trails and connections to two more. This keeps your plans anchored around one location rather than relying on several separate stops.

A guided tour offers a different way to combine places. Its described stops include Jägala Waterfall, Viru Bog, Altja or Käsmu fishing village, and Sagadi or Palmse Manor. The itinerary combines natural and cultural stops, with the village and manor choices presented as alternatives.

If you’re planning time in the capital as well, a one-day itinerary in Tallinn covers the city side of the trip.
